I didn't post last week because everytime I thought about it I didn't have my computer I gained 1.6. It was our spring break and also Easter. Easter candy is truly my weakness. I was expecting a much bigger gain, so I was okay with the 1.6. After the meeting last Wednesday we went eat mexican at El Paso. It was delicious but I didn't track it. I did great on Thursday and Friday until dinner. Friday was G's birthday so we went to this restaurant called World of Beer. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with hummus and vegetables but it came with a side of fries and we also ordered a ginormous pretzel with beer cheese to dip it in. Saturday wasn't any better. My mom and I went to Baton Rouge to do some shopping and ended up going to Zea's where I had my normal spinach salad and sandwich. Then we went to Whole Foods to get food for the week and we both got a piece of cake. Chantilly cake is my favorite :) On the way home we stopped at Sonic and I got a mini snickers blast. We went bowling for Em's birthday and I ate an order of fries from Whataburger. Sunday was Em's birthday and we started off with breakfast at my mom's. 2 1/2 biscuits, jelly, sausage, eggs, and bacon along with some random easter candy. Lunch we went to a baby shower and I ate whatever I wanted and drank three cups of coffee punch. Dinner was spinach salad and papa johns. I knew Monday I had to get my shit back together b/c I can't eat like that anymore. Monday and Tuesday I did awesome. Back to drinking my water and having all my meals counted. I went to the park while Em was at religion and got in 10,000 steps. Tuesday El came down with the stomach virus so no exercise happened. Wednesday I stayed home with her and didn't eat much.

Week 3 - 268.4 -2.8
Week 2 Stats
Current Weight - 268.4
Starting Weight - 279.2
This week - -2.8
Total - -10.8
I had another great week. I am down 2.8 pounds, which makes my total 10.8 in two weeks. I earned another five pound star. This has been a great week, I've had quite a few challenges.
Friday we went to the Pelicans game and actually went in the suite and I drank a beer and ate some boiled shrimp. There were several other things I could've eaten but I made the right choice and tracked it all.
Saturday we had dancing pictures ALL DAY long. The girls and I ate subway for lunch and I even ate some ice cream. I only had 8 points at the end of the day. Normally by that point I would say screw it and eat junk. I ended up grilling some chicken tenders, onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers. It was delicious and kept me within my points for the week.
Sunday we went to the Irish Italian parade and caught quite a few vegetables. I looked online and found some things to make with what I caught.
Monday I had my stress test and blood work, all which came back normal. That was truly my wake up call. I've been tracking, cooking, and looking for recipes. This week I made unstuffed cabbage rolls which were 5 points for 1 cup.
I also made carrot cake oatmeal muffins from Emilybites.com for 3 points each.
I had some leftover chicken tenders that needed to be cooked so I took them and put a wedge of laughing cow cheese and a piece of turkey, rolled up the chicken, put a toothpick to hold it together, dipped it in an egg white and then put bread crumbs on it. Baked it and it was quite delicious. I figured it out to be about 12 points for the whole pan.
My weekly goal is to track and drink my water same as last week. The water is still a challenge when I'm not at school. Easter is Sunday and the candy is one of my biggest weaknesses. I'm going to do my best to track it and not over do it.

Week 2 - 271.2 - -8 pounds
Wow, what a first week I had. Down 8 pounds! I started last week with the goal of tracking every day. I did and guess what, it worked. The weekends are always the hardest for me and this past weekend we had a birthday party in Thibodaux and also went to Chili's. I looked online before I went to Chili's and knew exactly what to eat. I was in shock at the points value on things I normally would've eaten. There have been times we've been to Chili's and have eaten the points for three days. Sunday I skipped the weekly donut trip and ate breakfast at home. My parents boiled crawfish and I went there prepared to make a Weight Watchers recipe as a snack. Everyone loved the ham and cheese twists from Emilybites.com. I also cooked chicken enchilada stuffed pasta shells from Emilybites. I've eaten that this week, a serving of three shells is 8 points.
I've started something new with my water intake. I have been writing the top of the bottle the number of bottles and it has helped me to keep track. I've been trying to drink a minimum of 6 bottles a day.
I haven't been exercising much. I had chest pains on Saturday and ended up going see my GP Monday. He did an EKG and that was fine and now I have to follow up with a stress test next Monday. I think it's going to come back just as stress but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Since I was successful with last weeks goal I am going to add on to it. Last weeks goal was to track daily, I'm going to try and track again and make sure I drink at least 6 bottles of water a day.

Week 1 - 279.2 - Starting Day
Today I made a decision to rejoin Weight Watchers. I've thought about it for a while and never could justify spending the money, so I half assed it and ended up doing etools. Ummm.... Not a success! I ended up paying for something I didn't even use. After talking to some friends from Jazzercise and seeing some posts on Facebook I got inspired. Inspired to the point I began looking at WW and the whole new smart points and thinking I should give it a shot. So I did... I went tonight to the meeting and when I got on the scale I thought to myself this is the last time I will ever weigh this much. I cannot believe I am 21 pounds from weighing 300 pounds. How did I get to this point? I remember thinking how do people get to 250 pounds and now I'm 29 pounds more than that. I can do this and I will do this! I think the group of people in the meetings will be a great support system. There are a lot of the members I personally know and also have a leader as a friend. I read several blogs that have become success stories using WW. My mom is also doing it, so I am hoping to get her help and also to motivate her to be successful.
I am going to blog weekly I've decided. Hopefully the night of weigh in so I can reflect on what went on. I also want to have a goal for each week and reflect on that.
So my goal for this week will be to track all week long. Sounds like a big goal, but it is definitely attainable.
Until next week...
